UK Sales Manager – Insurance Technology

Sales Leadership role partnering with insurance distribution businesses to drive growth, shape commercial strategy, and win complex, high-value deals within the UK market.

This is a senior, customer-facing role focused on building pipeline, influencing buying decisions, and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships within the insurance and InsurTech ecosystem.

The Role

This position sits within a growing insurance technology business focused on improving how insurance distribution organisations manage and optimise their operations across the full policy lifecycle.

The role takes ownership of UK sales activity, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across marketing, product, delivery, operations, and engineering. You will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, building a qualified pipeline, and successfully closing new business.

You will operate as a trusted commercial partner to prospective customers, guiding them through complex buying journeys and helping them understand how modern insurance platforms can deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the UK sales strategy aligned to wider business objectives

  • Win new business and drive sustained revenue growth

  • Identify, qualify, and progress complex sales opportunities through the full lifecycle

  • Source, manage, and respond to RFIs, RFPs, and formal bid processes

  • Lead and coordinate proposal and pitch activity to secure new contracts

  • Build and maintain a robust, qualified sales pipeline

  • Lead regular pipeline reviews and forecasting discussions with senior stakeholders

About You

This role suits an experienced sales professional with a strong background in complex B2B environments, ideally within insurance technology or adjacent sectors.

You are comfortable operating at senior levels, confident managing multi-stakeholder sales processes, and motivated by building long-term partnerships rather than transactional sales.

You bring a structured, process-driven approach to sales, strong commercial judgement, and the ability to navigate competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Experience

  • Proven track record in complex sales and business development

  • Strong experience within the insurance technology ecosystem, including InsurTech and systems integrators

  • Demonstrated success growing and managing a sales portfolio

  • Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Desirable

  • Experience in a scale-up or high-growth environment

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
