The Opportunity
We are supporting a global insurance technology business with the appointment of a senior Strategic Account Director to drive growth across major Life & Annuities enterprise accounts in North America.
This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role focused on owning the commercial strategy for a defined portfolio of large, complex strategic accounts. You will be responsible for expanding platform adoption, driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities, building senior executive relationships and maximising long-term account value across the Life Insurance market.
The role would suit a proven enterprise software or SaaS sales leader with experience managing major strategic accounts, leading complex sales cycles and operating credibly with C-suite stakeholders across Life Insurance, Life & Annuities, retirement, wealth or insurance technology environments.
The Role
You will take ownership of commercial strategy, account planning and revenue growth across assigned strategic Life & Annuities enterprise accounts.
Working closely with sales engineering, product, delivery and executive leadership teams, you will develop multi-year account plans, identify expansion opportunities and position a broad insurance technology platform around customers’ modernisation, transformation and growth objectives.
This is a senior account leadership role requiring strong executive presence, strategic thinking and the ability to orchestrate complex internal and external stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities

Own commercial strategy, revenue target and quota for assigned strategic Life & Annuities enterprise accounts

Develop and execute multi-year account plans focused on account growth and platform expansion

Drive cross-sell, upsell and net-new opportunities within existing strategic accounts

Build trusted executive-level relationships across customer organisations

Lead complex enterprise software sales cycles, including negotiation and deal closure

Position specialist Life Insurance software and SaaS solutions around customer transformation and modernisation objectives

Coordinate internal stakeholders across sales engineering, product, delivery and executive leadership

Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM discipline

Represent the voice of the customer internally to help influence roadmap, packaging and go-to-market strategy
Candidate Profile
We are interested in speaking with senior enterprise sales and strategic account leaders with a strong track record of quota achievement in North America.
You will ideally bring experience selling complex enterprise software, SaaS or insurance technology solutions into Life Insurance, Life & Annuities, retirement, wealth or policy administration environments.
Experience managing and growing strategic accounts with multi-million-dollar annual revenue potential would be highly relevant.
You should be comfortable engaging at C-suite level, leading complex commercial pursuits and building long-term strategic relationships across major Life Insurance enterprise customers.
