Marketing Director – EMEA (Account-Based and Event Marketing)

Senior marketing leadership role focused on driving growth across EMEA through account-based marketing and high-impact, event-led programmes.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, owning how marketing supports pipeline creation, sales engagement, and brand presence across the insurance and InsurTech market.

The Role

This position sits within a fast-growing insurance technology business operating in complex, enterprise sales environments across EMEA.

The Marketing Director will take ownership of regional marketing strategy with a clear emphasis on Account-Based Marketing and event-based marketing. Working closely with sales leadership and wider commercial teams, the role is responsible for designing and executing programmes that support target accounts, influence buying groups, and create meaningful engagement through industry events, field programmes, and executive-level experiences.

This is a broad, hands-on leadership role combining strategic planning with operational delivery, shaping how the business shows up in market across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the EMEA marketing strategy aligned to regional growth objectives

  • Design and execute Account-Based Marketing programmes in close partnership with sales

  • Lead event-based marketing across EMEA, including third-party conferences, field events, executive roundtables, and hosted experiences

  • Build and manage an integrated portfolio of marketing programmes that support pipeline and revenue

  • Partner with sales, customer teams, product, and leadership to align priorities and messaging

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of events, including budgets, vendors, logistics, and delivery quality

  • Enable sales teams with clear pre-event planning, account engagement strategies, and follow-up frameworks

  • Track performance and impact across ABM and events, including engagement, pipeline influence, and ROI

  • Continuously refine programmes based on data, feedback, and market insight

Experience

  • Senior-level experience in B2B marketing within enterprise or SaaS environments

  • Strong background in Account-Based Marketing and sales-aligned marketing programmes

  • Proven experience owning and delivering event-led marketing strategies

  • Track record of supporting pipeline creation and complex sales cycles

  • Strong project management and operational execution skills

  • Experience partnering closely with senior sales and commercial stakeholders

  • Data-driven mindset with experience measuring marketing impact and ROI

  • Confident communicator able to influence across functions and regions
