Engagement Director – DACH Insurance Technology (German Speaking)
Senior, customer-facing engagement role partnering with insurance organisations across the DACH region to support complex transformation programmes, drive adoption, and ensure long-term customer success.
This role focuses on guiding customers through enterprise insurance technology implementations, acting as a trusted partner throughout delivery, adoption, and renewal cycles.
The Role
This position sits within a global insurance technology business supporting insurers as they modernise core platforms across policy, claims, billing, underwriting, and operations.
The role owns a portfolio of DACH customers and works closely with both customer leadership teams and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery stays on track, risks are managed early, and business value is realised across the full customer lifecycle.
You will operate as the primary engagement lead, supporting strategic planning, roadmap development, and executive-level discussions, while coordinating closely with product, sales, cloud operations, and support teams.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout delivery and adoption

Guide customers in aligning implementations to best practice and business objectives

Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, and support resolution of blockers

Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders across business and IT functions

Co-develop roadmaps aligned to customer strategy and long-term goals

Facilitate strategic conversations linking technology capability to business outcomes

Partner with internal teams to ensure aligned execution across accounts

Share customer feedback to influence product direction and service improvement

DACH Market Focus

Experience

Experience in customer-facing roles within software delivery, consulting, or transformation programmes

Background within P&C insurance, with exposure to claims, underwriting, policy, or billing

Strong communication skills with senior business and technology stakeholders

Experience managing multiple customer engagements or complex workstreams

Familiarity with enterprise software implementation or digital transformation cycles

Ability to identify delivery risks and propose practical solutions

Comfortable working with standard delivery and collaboration tools

Fluent written and spoken German
